Witch way to the Halloween party? Halloween is just around the corner, and whether you’re hosting a spooky bash, attending one, or staying home to pass out some boo-tastic homemade treats, we’ve got you covered! Here are a few easy Halloween treats to whip up for your next celebration:
Halloween Themed Trail Mix
Trail mix is one of my personal favorites and it’s super easy to customize. You can make it as healthy or as sweet as you’d like it, with endless candy options to choose from. You can add some of your favorite holiday candy like candy corn, caramel popcorn, rolos, mellocreme pumpkins, or classic M&Ms are just a few that come to mind. I like to add Check Mix, Captain Crunch, pretzels, popcorn, and M&Ms. For an extra touch of sweetness, I like to melt white chocolate, pour it over the mix, and lay it out on a flat surface to dry. Once cooled, divide the mix into small gift bags for a spooky party favor!
Rice Krispie Treat Pumpkins
For Halloween, simply make your classic Rice Krispies but add a few drops of orange food coloring to the marshmallow mixture. Once combined, shape the treats into small pumpkin-sized balls and top each one with a mini rolo to create a cute little pumpkin "stem."
Peanut Butter Ghosties
These little ghost treats are as adorable as they are delicious! All you need are NutterButters, white chocolate, and mini milk chocolate chips. Dip the NutterButters into the melted white chocolate, then lay them on parchment paper to cool. Before they set, press two mini chocolate chips onto each one to create spooky eyes. These ghostly snacks are sure to be a hit!
Witches Broom of Pretzels
This treat is not only spookily easy but also festive! You will need some fun, Halloween-colored straws, thin black ribbon, rubber bands, small plastic treat bags, and pretzel sticks. Fill the bags with pretzels, place the straw as the broomstick in the bag, wrap the rubber band around the straw and plastic bag, and then tie the ribbon around the broomstick straw. It’s a wicked witchy snack for any Halloween gathering.
Ghost Lollipops
Here is another simple yet spooky treat, grab some lollipops like Dum-Dums, Tootsie Pops, or your local favorite! Wrap each one with a tissue and tie it off at the base using white string to form a ghost. Use a black marker to draw spooky faces on your newly created ghostly lollipops for an extra Halloween touch!
With these easy-to-make Halloween treats, you’ll have your party guests and trick-or-treaters raving about your eerie-sistible snacks. So grab your ingredients, put on your favorite witch’s hat, and get ready to impress with delicious and delightfully spooky treats. Happy Halloween!
